On this collaborative project, Jonathan and I were tasked with analyzing the play "The American Dream" by Edward Albee. In this presentation, we included photos and our own written analysis of the setting, design elements, theme, and plot of the play. We came to the conclusion that the play was critiquing the very American concept of striving for the perfect family and life, diregarding the traumas that process can create. Below, we go in depth about these ideas.
